Unable to format a floppy disk due to write-protected or corrupt.
Cause:
The floppy disk is write-protected or corrupt.
Solution:
Remove write-protect tab or use a different floppy disk.
1) If the diskette is write-protected, remove the write-protection tab from the diskette. Choose 'Retry' on the error message dialog box.

2) If the diskette is corrupt, use a different diskette.
NOTE: Disk corruption may reflect a virus, which in some cases will render the diskette drive inoperative. Changing to another diskette will not solve this problem if the virus has already entered memory.
